I have heard of intriguing stories about people from exotic and faraway lands who have attempted to communicate with the outside world by putting a message in a bottle, sealing it, and releasing it into the ocean. The message drifts out of the control of the author and into control of the earth's ocean currents, wind, and weather. Some stories of "message sending" are associated with being stranded on a deserted island, attempting to be rescued. However, most stories are of people just communicating for pleasure, of people venturing to see how far their message can travel, and of people dreaming about making new friends. It is in this tradition that I am sending my bottled message drifting out of my hands and into this modern ocean, the internet. Whoever finds it, I hope you will read and enjoy my message in a bottle.

Does the skate board provide the same thrill as the surf board, and I thought you were vegan?
Hi Ruby! I think I know you from Oxnard?? Skateboarding is fun, but there is nothing like the "thrill" (as you say) of riding in the surf. I love surfing. I just moved to the desert, and I haven't been in the water for a couple of months. I do not eat any red meat; however, I am a big fish eater. ...love fish, love sushi, and really love shell fish (crab, lobster, scallops...)
